・ Hatsu isn't confident at fighting and doesn't want to be a Warrior of Light. Memories of many previous lives cloud her mind and she is sometimes confused about what is past and what is present. Due to her clouded memories, she is often melancholy and forgetful but honest to a fault. She didn't want to accept her responsibilities as a Warrior of Light and ran from them for as long as she could.
・ Before she joined the Scions and was recognized as a Warrior of Light, she and her family escaped Doma to Ul'dah. They found it safer to pose as traveling merchants instead of refugees and took on new names as they offered their wares. Hatsu specialized in restoring antique jewelry and often needed Tataru's knowledge in the lapidary arts, thus becoming business partners.
・ After the fall of Dalamud, the loss of her family, and the awakening of her Echo, she became tormented by memories of Amaurot. Though she desired to rebuild an ordinary life, she hopes that by living all over the world, she might find the answer she is looking for. Much like her Ascian brethren, a feeling there is something more tugs at her heart -- a yearning for the past, the regret of a broken promise, a desperation to return home -- it fuels her every action.
・ She typically has a sad or distant look to her eyes until she sees gems, jewelry, and antiques. Only then would she get a sparkle in her eyes and another side of her would surface (a side that Tataru is very familiar with). Related to her Echo, they carry memories that don't belong to this current life.
・ Unbeknownst to her, Hatsu is not her true name. Since the fall of Dalamud, everyone still alive around her only knew her as Hatsu so it is the name she has been going by ever since.
・ Her expressions are small and subtle but blushes easily. She has a pure and innocent first impression. She feels pressure to act like the hero everyone expects but she is secretly greedy and materialistic. She only showed this side of herself to one person.
・ She is currently retired from adventuring.
